Learning Services Outside Formal Education

ISO 29993 sets the requirements for learning services provided outside formal education — corporate training, professional development, coaching, language schools, technical academies and vocational programmes. It is how a training provider demonstrates that its programmes are designed, delivered and evaluated properly.

Training is a crowded market where anybody can claim quality. Certification against ISO 29993 is one of the few objective signals available — and it is frequently requested in corporate and government training tenders.
